I collaborated with Irish artist Bernardine Carroll to create a virtual travel agency between our two countries. Tourists from each country were paired and taken on a virtual tour of the other’s home town. I operated an “agency”, first from The Banff Centre and then from The Oxgen Art Centre in Nelson, BC. Carroll was based at the Limerick City Art Gallery. Through Skype, e-mail, blogs and of course, the ‘tours’ themselves, we connected people on both sides of the Atlantic.
