“Peacing: Sacred Circle of Life” consisted of objects created from shredded paper. As I was sorting through my and my deceased mother’s personal and financial archives, I shredded them then transformed the papers into something new. Most of the paper shreds contained unintelligible parts of letters and numbers, but some words and phrases came through. These phrases had a surprisingly spiritual significance.
This work was featured in a show at the Kootenay Gallery of Art and at the Kalein Hospice Centre in Nelson.
